Early detection and treatment can help patients live longer, healthier lives. If you have any symptoms or are concerned about your heart health, this package is designed to spot early warning signs of the disease as well as offer practical, evidence-based lifestyle advice tailored to your needs.The Family History Heart Screening Service includes:
- Consultation with one of our expert cardiologists
- Full history and examination including a detailed family history analysis
- Blood panel report including diabetic screen, thyroid, kidney, liver and detailed cholesterol profile.
- Exercise electrocardiogram (ECG) with full report
- Heart echocardiogram (ultrasound scan ultrasound scan to assess how well your heart is working and assesses the valves and heart muscle).
- Follow-up appointment with full 10-year cardiac risk score
Sports & Fitness – £1400*
If you are exercising or planning to start exercising or are looking to kick-start a new fitness regime and would like a comprehensive heart health check, our cardiac health screening package will suit your needs.The Sports & Fitness Heart Screening Service includes:
- Consultation with one of our expert cardiologists
- Full history and examination
- An electrocardiogram (ECG) with full report
- A cardiopulmonary exercise test – to assess your heart and lungs and fitness level
- Full blood panel with report
- Heart echocardiogram (ultrasound scan to assess how well your heart is working and assesses the valves and heart muscle)
- Full detailed report sent to your home and telephone follow-up with your consultant explaining your results
*These prices are for the stated package components. Additional tests and treatments recommended by your cardiologist during your screening consultation (in certain circumstances) which are NOT part of the package will incur extra costs which will be discussed at the time of consultation.
